Stainless steel growlers are in!

Can't bring glass to the pool or beach? Well here's what you need, a half gallon stainless steel growlers. It goes where glass doesn't and won't break when you drop it on the sidewalk. Available now in the General Store and in the Restaurant.

Funk is in da house!

Its been a long time coming, but our first full scale "Funk" release with many more to come is here. Biological Speculation is on the General Store shelves and shortly in the pub. This beer is over two years in the making, having been aged in a wine barrel with Brettanomyces bruxellensis, a wild brewer's yeast. Then bottled, cork and cage style and allowed to re-ferment for 12 weeks. There's only 250 bottles available so get them while they last.

The Brewery celebrates XMAS in June!

A new six piece wooden drum set?
If only I had rhythm.

More likely though they'll be added to Franklin's Funk Cellar, if you're curious there's 3-Carribean Rum barrels (53gal) and 3-California Red Wine barrels (59gal). More to follow on these projects...

Batch 600

In case you missed our tappening last week, Batch 600 is now filling tulips at Franklin's. This copper colored ale is decked out with toasty malt, fruit and caramelized sugars. At 8.5% ABV it has some warmth to it and should age very well, so expect some bottles in the store soon and take one home to lay down.

Cheers,
Mike Roy

All is well

There's been a lot of worry and gossip about our situation at the brewery due to the power outage caused by the storm. As of this time there's no need for concern as we got through the 40+ hour outage without losing any beer.

That is all.

Cheers,
Mike

Power Outage

Just a heads up to everyone out there last night's storm has caused the restaurant to lose power. We'll be closed in the meantime until we can get electricity back on. Follow us on facebook/twitter as we'll be sure to update our re-opening as soon as we know.

In beer related news, look for an upcoming post on the latest batch 600 tasting notes.

Cheers,
Mike Roy
